I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS SAFEWAY EVER AGAIN!
I am not from moose jaw im here working,
I parked in the p-lot at Safeway, went in bought groceries, walked across the street to eat supper and when I returned a short time later, a man ran up to me to ask me if I ate across the street, then he said I will get an 80 DOLLAR PARKING TICKET next time. Yes he was issuing parking tickets. He tried to tell me he could issue bylaw parking tickets in a private parking lot. This is messed up on many levels. I understand if it were 1 hr or more.
I thought Safeway was better than that, guess I was wrong!!!!!
I will NEVER SHOP AT THIS SAFEWAY AGAIN ON PRINCIPAL ALONE
All I wanted was lunch. The hot deli meals looked and smelled horrible. So I bought a 7 dollar 'Caesar' salad. No dressing at all. Just a bowl of dry lettuce. So today I had a glass of water for lunch at work. Thanks for nothing Safeway. I won't be back any time soon.
Out of the grocery store options Safeway is the best. They have good prices with frequent further discount stickers on items. Clean and nice flow with friendly staff

Prices have really gone up and multiple times now I have had a few staff there be downright rude. Many of the staff are also really nice, so its a mixed bag. Selection is pretty good.
We're not from Moose Jaw but we passed through regularly. We needed to stop for a few items on the way down to the farm. It's very handy when heading south.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We got our supplies and had a brief bathroom break (the bathrooms are clean) before heading out.
Moose Jaw is a smaller city so the store isn't packed and the parking lot isn't filled up. It's quite relaxing.
If you're in Moose Jaw or passing through it's a nice store for what you need.
I just wanted to give the florist, Erin, a big thank you!! She did a wonderful job on our flower arrangement. It was a short notice order, for a funeral. And Erin was really helpful. She told me what kind of arrangement is suitable for my needs, and created it under my budget and on time.
Great customer service, the teller was great and smiling even thou it was a very busy day
